Hello! My name is Anna and I am so glad you found your way to my site. Some people believe that birth is accomplished by reaching deep into our biology and pulling from subconscious ancestral knowledge. I could even say that I believed that the processes of birth would come naturally and I would instinctively ease my children into the world. After having my own children and training as a birth doula, I currently believe that the best practice is a shared combination of listening to your motherly instincts and having abundant birthing information/resources nearby. As your birth doula I would be serving you as a source of knowledge and as calm, unwavering support.

I believe that all information surrounding birth should be widely available and shared freely. I am available to chat and discuss birth and birthing options. I can humbly say that I do not know everything about birth but I will do my best to find resources that can answer or illuminate questions that arise. Together, empowered with knowledge, we will enter your birth unafraid. I am exited to see you there.
